Every year I have to pinch myself as I am incredibly lucky to be a full time wedding photographer in the beautiful state of Maine. I photographed 25 weddings this year, my associate photographed another 5, and my team shot 10 wedding videos. The weddings took me all over Maine, New England, and this year to Aruba. I photographed at some of my favorite wedding venues….The Inn on Peaks Island, The Nonantum Resort, Sebasco Harbor Resort, Kingsley Pines, Hardy Farm, Broadturn Farm, and The Willowdale Estate. It was a year full of amazing families, super fun friends, and couples who are destined to be together. I told individual stories, captured precious memories, and created family history. I became a part of many new couples lives and am so lucky to feel like each one of my clients families took me in as their own. Honestly I worked with the most wonderfully sweet, smart, and fabulous brides and grooms I can’t thank you all enough!
I had the pleasure of working with tons of talented wedding vendors–I truly appreciate the help of Stacey at Broadturn Farm for her incredible florals, Jayson and his amazing team for all of their help and smooth wedding schedules at the Inn on Peaks Island, Sarah from Daisies and Pearls for her incredible styling and vision, El’s Cards for her beautiful custom invitations, Wavelength for their continued support and their fantastic ability to get the crowd dancing, Heidi at Seacoast Harbor Events for referring me and having such amazing weddings, Owen Dyer at Confection Art for creating some of the best cakes I ate this year, Sarah at Watershed Floral for always making incredible bouquets for me to photograph, Ryan from Fire and Co for using my images and always feeding us fantastic pizzas, Churchill Catering for their professionalism and delicious eats, Julie who owns Andreas Bridal, Josh Swan for helping me out with questions, Adrienne who is crazy talented and owns Refinery Events, Maria from A sweet Start who honestly just lights up my life, Will Saunders, Vows for You, to my new friend Lauren who owns Lauren Rachel Design, and to the women who make my brides even more beautiful than they are everyday: Kim Collins, Jess Candage, Bei Capelli, and the very talented and sweet Lindsey Green. I know I have missed people–I honestly loved working with everyone this year and I am so lucky to be a part of such a talented and supporting wedding community.
