Bethel Inn Wedding || Maine Wedding Photography

Angela and Rob are a bit opposite but they balance each other out perfectly.  I so enjoyed my day with the two of them and their family and friends.  Their wedding was a kick ass Sunday affair!  Some of the highlights for me: the crazy dancing group from NY, the groomsmen’s brightly colored socks and suspenders, angela’s beautiful smile, and angela’s mom’s contagious laugh.  The florals were a beautiful rustic design with thistle and the bridesmaids wore long navy blue dresses.

In Angela’s words:

How did you meet?  “Our brothers have been best friends since they were kids so we would often see each other at sporting events and other school activities.  Rob is a couple years older than me and I always had a little crush on him since I was a young girl. About seven years ago I went to Maine/home for Christmas and saw him at a bar.  We spent the whole week together.  He came to visit me in NY for New Years and never left.  We have been together ever since.”  Side note Rob (groom) literally told me he went to see her in NY and never came back:)I thought that was the cutest thing ever!

How did he propose? ” My Mom was having a family get together and in the middle of it he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife?”

What is the most important thing on your wedding day?  “Everyone to have a fun time! Nothing too sappy.”
Favorite part of wedding planning?  “Picking out my dress!  I love it!”
What didn’t you realize going into wedding planning?  “Amazed how many people assume they are invited even though you haven’t talked to them in years.  haha”  This was my favorite answer because I hear it all the time–I know tons of you are out there thinking it:)
