Chateau de Varennes weddings are pretty perfect. You will fall in love on your drive up to the Chateau de Varennes with the tree lined drive. You step inside to an open marble and glamorous entryway. On the back of the chateau there is a little chapel and to the left is a pool and an open terrace for dining outside during warmer weather. The Burgundy region is adorable and the chateau is so intimate. There truly couldn’t be a more beautiful or magical place for a wedding. In late April of this year I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing inspiration wedding shoot. There truly couldn’t be a more talented team of vendors or a nicer group of people. It is an experience I will not soon forget and has given me an even deeper wanderlust. This shoot was built with several high fashion dresses in mind and designed around colorful vintage 70’s fashion magazines by the talented Jesse Tombs. With decadent florals designed by Becky and Holly from Holly Flora Jesse created lush and textured looks that really stood out against the cream color of the chateau. There is something even more magical about photographing destination weddings on film it adds to the creamy tones and luscious colors. I am looking forward to continuing to grow my destination wedding photography business with the launch of a new website this winter. Hopefully returning to France for weddings in the future.
