Jenny was an amazing bride to work with–she was super sweet, so beautiful, and very fun. I am so delighted that I was able to document their wedding day–Adam is a perfect match for Jenny. They are the type of couple you can look at and see the love between them.
How did you two meet? “Adam and I were acquaintances for a few years before we began dating. He worked at the Bangor airport, which is where I worked when I was home from college in the summer. Adam also played hockey with my dad on Sunday nights. One night, after a game, I invited him out for a drink. Adam, myself and my younger brother, JT, went to a local Irish pub and had a great time. We shared our first kiss that night. I told him not to fall in love with me. The rest is history.”
How did he propose? “One sunny, cold Saturday in December we traveled down to Portland to do some Christmas shopping. Instead of shopping we traveled to our old neighborhood, grabbed coffee from our favorite place and walked down to a park overlooking the ocean. Adam dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. It was lovely and it was perfect because it was us.”
