Kali and Brian compliment each other perfectly–they challenge each other, have fun with each other, and understand each other. Their wedding was beautiful–everything was based out of Old Orchard Beach where Kali’s family has summered for 20 years. It was a perfect beach day and the best evening in Maine for weather anyone could ever ask for. The bridesmaid dresses minty blue color was beautiful and everyone of the dresses flattered the women wearing them. Their details had personality and brought life to the Landing at Pine Point. It was a pleasure to get to know their family and friends and I wish them a wonderful marriage.
A little about Kali and Brian and their wedding in Kali’s words: “Brian and I have known each other since we were little, he was a couple grades older than me (same grade as my sister), but we’re both from the same town. We started talking one night out with friends when I was home for a weekend as a senior in college and have been dating ever since! He proposed December 2011 on the first night of vacation in Dominican Republic. This sounds really corny but we play a lot of pass when we go to Florida, in the ocean with splash bombs (like nerf balls) so he’d created a ring box out of one and kind of threw it at me and said “look what I brought”. We’re actually putting the ring box on display at the seating table with our favors, which are bags with a splash bomb and salt water taffy inside. We just want our wedding day to be a fun time for everyone there, part of the reason we chose Maine is so we could extend the weekend a bit and enjoy more time with our family and friends. With the planning, I didn’t realize how many details would need to be decided or how complicated some of the logistics can be, but that’s why we gave ourselves a long engagement so the details could fall into place stress-free and over time.”
