Wow, what a wonderful week in San Antonio Texas. So much education and inspiration. Not to mention warm weather! Today its back to the snow 🙁 Snow wouldn’t be so bad if I could photograph models in it and not have to worry about loosing limbs 🙂 I traveled with my friend Stacia who owns Stacia’s photography. Some of the high points of travel were…Rattle Snakes, Cowboys, being on a Phocation (photo vacation, like a fake vacation because photography is never work), Seeing the Sporatics band at the Canon party, feel good fortune cookie speakers (those that you can take whatever you want out of), and a man who said the day after the convention…”looks like a couple of PPA (professional photography association) leftovers to me” as we were walking from the Alamo. I also enjoyed our crazy idea (plane’s make you loopy) of bringing the polar bears to Maine instead of ice they can use the docks…since Maine seems to be colder than the north pole these days 🙂 Finally though I was able to meet some of my greatest heros…Marcus Bell, Yervant, Jennifer Hudson, and the Sallee’s!! Truly nothing better than dreaming you can someday be as successful as they are 🙂 I saw the Alamo, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, went up in the tower of the america’s, and stayed in a historic hotel called the St. Anthony. The “floor” was awesome full of great vendors and all of their products. Stay tuned for new product blog posts. Here are some of the images I took.
