Hey all…..
I don’t often post personal things–but I decided this was a great place to share how much I don’t want to turn 30! What is interesting about this is I am not turning 30 until March but it is haunting me! lol I know there are many of you reading this laughing at me saying 30 is sooooo young–but where has all the time gone?!!! I demand a redo! lol 🙂 My best friend got married this year–married! I am not old enough to be married (lol kidding–but seriously in my mind Kelly and I are still like 17) There are so many things I wanted to do before 30!
Lets see:
- write a book (still hoping to do this sometime)
- travel the world (one stop at a time–I am going to get there)
- find my soul mate/love of my life (hopefully someday)
- get a Doctorate degree (I don’t yet have a masters-but hey anything is possible)
Thats a lot to do in the next six months! 🙂 hehehehehe
In all honesty I wanted to write to say a few things….first I love my life. Some of you are sick of listening to me all sappy over how wonderful my life is–but having a positive attitude and appreciating all you have has gotten me where I am today. While I have yet to find my soul mate/the love of my life…I have been some neat places because of photography, and I have lived each moment of so many wonderful real life love stories I feel like even though it looks a little different than in the movies (we all live on budgets hollywood doesn’t) it is like the fairytales you grew up with. With hard work (because not everyday is a fairytale day in a marriage) and an appreciation of the love you share you do get your fairytale endings. 🙂 I cant wait to meet my couples in 20 years to see how much more they have grown together–and see the same looks in their eyes as I do on wedding day. So back to being 30…..never in my life did I think I would be a photographer which is a pretty good gig….so I guess I will kick back and see where the next 6 months take me.
Anyway—one of my goals will be happening next week. I am taking a vacation–real vacation–the kind where I leave my editing behind–and I drink cappuccinos all day in Italy 🙂 I have never done this before. (Ok so I am working a wedding while there–but it isn’t as the lead photographer so I can still vacation all the other days) It will be the first time in my life I have traveled with the intent of vacationing 🙂 What do people do on vacation anyway lol–I am always “working” (photography stuff) Who knows what almost 30 in Italy will bring 🙂
