I think May is probably the very best time of year to elope in Acadia National Park. “In Season” you would have too many spectators as well as people everywhere in your photos. Acadia in May is a bit chilly so be sure you bring a cover-up you can wear both in and out of photos. It will be worth it for the stunning landscapes in your wedding images. Even better if you are lucky enough to get some fog rolling in or some memorable weather. These two drove up to Maine in order to make a road trip out of their wedding! They only invited a handful of family and friends to attend. It was intimate and perfect. I love their adventurous spirit and that they stuck to what would make them happy not what other people wanted. They were married on Sand Beach in Acadia National Park, and then we went up to the top of Cadillac Mountain for some photographs before their reception dinner in Bar Harbor.
