So I was going to blog this on thanksgiving day but it turns out that my parents really do live in the sticks and the internet is like non-existent. It’s been a while since I have been home to my parents place. It was so nice to see my dad. Mom and I went to the movies and saw “Love and Other Drugs”. Anne Hathaway had Parkinson’s Disease and falls in love. It really showed how hard it would be to have a loved one with the disease and how challenging it would be to live with it. It really made me think about how fortunate I am that my family and I are all healthy. Then the next day on CNN dad and I watched S. Gupta interview Michael J. Fox who also has Parkinson’s Disease. It really is a terrible disease, early onset changes your life. I cant even imagine having to take every photograph on a tripod because I had so many shakes and twitches that I couldn’t hold it straight. So this thanksgiving I am thankful for my health and the health of those that I love. Reminded that God is providing amazing things for me and that I should appreciate all the moments I have because you never know when you could loose what you’ve got.
