Every year I like to set personal and business goals….and in the recent years I have done pretty well at achieving them 🙂  Its very exciting to look back on notes you wrote and be able to say “I did that” scratch that off the list.  Entering my second year as a full time wedding photographer and my fourth year in business my dreams continually grow…so this year there are some really BIG dreams on the list.  Its very scary to express such big dreams—what if I fail?  I think the old saying is so true you never know unless you try–and you are far more likely to succeed if you put them out there for others to see and of course write them down.  Some of them have deadlines some of them are things to begin planned for in 2014 to do in the next couple of years.  So here is the 2014 list called Dare To Dream:
Would like to shoot an inspired shoot/editorial for/with Well Wed
In five years be debt free (student loans and car)
Learn Graphic Design potentially get another degree in the field
Winter In Warmth
Shoot a wedding in Italy
Take my dad to Hungary
Design a magazine
Get into a National Publication
Grow my blog following
Earn my PPA masters
Get into the top ten published in PDN’s Wedding Competition
Get a Photo into the top ten WPJA’s winners
Make 3k per wedding and shoot 30 plus weddings in 2015
Eventually be able to shoot only 20 weddings a year at 5k per wedding
Plan for retirement
Start Saving for a down payment on a house
Would like to eventually be able to be a part of photographing the Real Maine Wedding of the Year
Personal Project on my mom
Travel with the circus for 1 month and do a photo project on them
Write a book
Start a what its really like to be a wedding photographer blog under pen name
Photograph dogs in Portland Maine
Go back to Italy and do a focused photo-project on the people
Take a blog class
Learn Video
Use more Hash tags
Host a workshop
Go to a big photo workshop of my choice
