Is there anything more romantic than Paris? Arguably it doesn’t get any better than photographing a couple in love on film in Paris. We ended up photographing at the gorgeous Luxembourg Gardens. Paris was still sleeping when we arrived at the gardens, and the only people out and about were runners making loops through the paths. It was unseasonably cold, completely overcast, and we thought it would rain at any moment, but Amanda and Cole were troopers, and the gardens were perfect. We had stone staircases, perfect light, the chateau in the background, vintage green cafe chairs, and even little motor boats to pay with in the fountain. The florals were absolutely amazing with their whimsical design, their luscious textures, and their pastel colors, and walking through the giant rows of trees steeped us all in romance. Amanda and Cole posed, walked, and laughed, and I clicked and clicked and clicked my shutter button. We made some truly once-in-a-lifetime images, memories, and I was so happy to make their fairytale dream of having portraits of themselves in Paris (and my dream of being the one to capture them!) come true. I cant gush enough about these photos–they are my most favorite photos I have ever created. These are shot entirely on film and I think just show the magic of the gardens and the couple.
