Jill looked regal, sophisticated, and stunning in her Badgley Mischka wedding gown. The backdrop on a chilly May day was the gorgeous Marianmade Farm overlooking the ocean. Some of the highlights for me were watching Jill’s maid of honor bake a Norwegian cookie cake after having her hair and makeup done, the best man’s speech where he talked about how Ian just had this sly smile when he talked about Jill early on, and how in her sister’s speech she talked about how Jill seemed to know almost from the very first time they went out that he was her forever. I enjoyed watching them smile and laugh with their closest friends and family and committing to each other for a lifetime. There couldn’t be a couple more suited for each other–they really do belong together. Both are a bit quiet at first but once you get to know them you realize they are kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and wise. I loved that they incorporated traditions that were their own, and how they customized the wedding to fit them with a family style meal, personalized drinks, and a schedule that allowed them the most time with their guests. It was a magical day and I loved every minute of it!
