As I was looking back at my favorite images from my New England weddings in 2017 I realized that these most loved images are the images I recommend being on a “must have” wedding photo list. They must have’s because they are full of moments, movement, spontaneity, beauty, connection, romance, experience, and love. What more could you ask for? In the way of wedding details, they are my favorites either because they had a story behind them or because I gave them a story while I was photographing them. The portraits are must have’s because the couples were so relaxed, easy going, and fun. Some of the categories even blend together….reception details and regular details, portraits of all kinds (bride, bride and groom, groom etc), prep and bridal party photos…I include things all along the way that my couples probably wouldn’t even think they needed that are different for every wedding and you could never put on a “must have” wedding photos list. How would you know you were going to need a pic of you visiting your Nana in the hospital, or how would you know you wanted a pic of the bridal party walking from one portrait location to the next, or that your Dad was going to cry at the ceremony? So DITCH the list! My favorite wedding images of 2017 were so hard to narrow! I started with 2000 images from the 15 Maine weddings I photographed this year and kept narrowing it down until I had less than 30 in each category.
There are images in each wedding day category:
Details:
The Bride and Groom Prep:
Ceremony:
Bridal Party:
Portraits:

A HUGE thank you to all of my couples for being so AMAZING, and to all of the VENDORS out there for being so WONDERFUL to work with and making each of these photos happen! Thank you thank you thank you for making my 2017 season the best one yet!
