He peeked through the sun porch windows when she snuck by into the barn to get into her dress. Her maids wouldn’t let her look through the windows to catch a glimpse of her man. She ran over the vows they memorized again in her head and counted the seconds until she could see him. Her dress was sweet, romantic, sexy, and unique just like she is. As she walked down to the garden it ruffled like it was singing her song as beautifully as the birds sang her presence. The babies breath lined the aisle leading into the rose garden. Waiting for her there in the garden was her prince, smiling his big “I told you so” smile as if he had known all along it would always be her. She fell in love with him when she was just a girl. Their story feels like an epic romance. He swooped her up in his arms for the first kiss, it was a perfect first kiss I don’t even think her toes were touching the ground. The sun was beginning to dip behind the trees in the distance and it felt like it was just the two of them in a secret garden. The garden had little waterfalls, built of rocks with roses growing all around and wolly thyme growing in all the cracks. When I think of these two I think of a great passion that has seen them through the years and a deep friendship that brings them closer, a dreamy childhood love that keeps them young and playful. It was a pleasure to be a part of their story, a story that is dreamed of by so many young women everywhere. Wishing you guys years of playful love, shoulders and encouragement through the hard times, and passion.
