What better location for a science boho inspired wedding than a greenhouse on a farm. Not just any farm a beautiful working farm in Scarborough Maine where they host sophisticated yet comfortable tented and barn weddings. This wedding was created from an idea that we are all nerds, and that we all want to be a little boho. The design was inspired by this idea of going to graduate school and living in Brooklyn, NY. The clients who inspired the wedding were in the bio-tech field and one of them had a specialty in fungi. They were confident in their careers, style, that their hobbies include reading detailed technical journals, and enjoying local farm to table foods. The grooms attire is really personal and stylish bringing NY to Maine. All of the table settings are actual old pieces from college science laboratories that were found in miscellaneous antique stores. A little bit of quirky mixed with a bit of elegance and some rustic is the best way to describe this science meets boho inspired wedding. The design team did a wonderful job incorporating textures and I used film to photograph this event as it is creamier and the colors are richer.
