Aimee and Jack recently moved outside of Boston but prior to they dated and lived in Boston. They met at a bar and are truly perfect for each other. In Aimee’s words: “We met at the Beantown Pub on a Monday evening over a game of pool. Jack asked my friend if we wanted to play with him and his friend, and the rest is history.” They had a very memorable wedding–not only was the ceremony beautiful and fitting but in the middle of it it rained. It was held on the Lalapalooza trail on Sunday River one of their favorites to ski and see the views. The guests were taken up in the Chondola (chair lift crossed with gondola) and the reception was at the top of the mountain. The weather cleared and the views were spectacular. The dance floor was always jam packed and the party was very fun. Aimee said Jack proposed by: “He ambushed me in our apartment as I rushed home from work early on a Friday afternoon to leave for our annual ski weekend in Stowe, VT. I walked in with groceries and bags and there were candles, flowers and champagne and Jack was wearing a suit (not normal attire for a four hour drive north to Vermont). He got down on one knee and said a lot of really great things that I can’t remember because I was in shock. He later told me that he had initially meant to propose at the top of the mountain at Stowe, but got so nervous that he knew he couldn’t last that long.”
