Nicole and James are wonderful people and their quirky sense of humor and fantastic personalities compliment each other perfectly. Last Saturday on a beautiful day we took a stroll in the park with the bridal party before the 6pm ceremony on the river in the back of the Boston Museum of Science. The bridal party was a blast and the ceremony couldn’t have been more beautiful with the sun lighting Nicole’s veil from the back. The cocktail hour overlooked the Boston skyline and the sunset was amazing. The dinner was delicious with choices from the “East Coast” and the “West Coast” to incorporate all their family and friends. The dance party did not disappoint complete with the worm, a backflip, and everyones hands in the air for “shout.” All in all I would say pretty much a perfect wedding day.
Engagement Story as told by the bride: “We were on a much-needed vacation in Costa Rica, enjoying the rainforest and the beach. One evening, James suggested we check out Playa Samara, touted as one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and deserted beaches. We arrived at sunset and went for a short run to the edge of the beach, where we were alone. Nicole was taking photos of the sunset while James told her “I can’t go on.” She thought he was complaining that he couldn’t run in the heat anymore, only to turn around and find him holding a ring and telling her he “couldn’t go on without her for the rest of his life”. She, of course, immediately said yes. We are avid runners and have spent a lot of our time getting to know each other while out on the trails, so this was the perfect way to start the rest of our lives together. ”
